As a member, you’ll have access to legal advice and will always save at least DKK 2,000 on Danish language lessons and case processing, and at least DKK 5,000 on The Danish Summer School. You’ll also receive a member discount on a wide range of products and services.

Questions about registration and payment for the Danish Family Summer School

Do I have to be a member to buy a stay at the Family Summer School?

No, you do not need to be a member of Danes Worldwide to book a stay at the Danish Summer School. However, members always save DKK 5,000 on their stay, and of course they also enjoy all the many membership benefits. Membership covers the whole family. See all membership benefits.

How do I register my family?

You do that in our webshop . There is also the option to buy a membership here.

The registration fee is part of the total price for the Family Summer School and must be paid before the registration is valid.

Payment

The payment for the Family Summer School consists of a registration fee and a participation fee. You can choose to pay the participation fee (rates) in one or two instalments:

  • A) Registration fee + B) Rate 1 + C) Rate 2
    or
  • A) Registration fee + D) Rate 1 + Rate 2

If you wish to purchase Danish lessons for adults, you must also pay:

  • E) Danish for adults

What is included?

The fee includes tuition, activities, board and lodging, field trips and any entrance fees.

It does not cover transportation to/from the schools on arrival and departure.

Cancellation must be done as soon as possible. Check the applicable terms and conditions here.

When you buy a stay at the Danish Summer School, it is important that your membership of Danes Worldwide is valid during the stay itself.

Apply for a scholarship for Danish lessons

Every year, Danes Worldwide awards language scholarships to Danes living abroad. The scholarships are awarded as full or half scholarships – meaning that they cover 50-100% of the cost of the course.
The scholarships can be applied for both online Danish lessons and the Danish Summer School.

Danish Family Summer School

At the Family Summer School in Denmark, children aged 6-13 with their parents or grandparents have a shared experience with a focus on Danish language and culture. There are language lessons and plenty of time to do fun activities together.
