We host a weekly webinar or event with topics relevant to Danes living abroad. As a member, you get free access to all webinars and in-person events. When we host larger physical events, there may in some cases be a small charge for catering.

As a member, you get full access to all knowledge articles on the website. In the library, you’ll find a wide range of how-to articles to help you learn more about legal issues.

You also have access to our knowledge base where you can find answers to your questions about family reunification, citizenship and tax.

We have representatives based all over the world who help members with advice and guidance on local conditions. When you sign up, you will be contacted by your local representative who will welcome you to the association and the local network.

As a member, you support our work to continuously improve the conditions for Danes living abroad, for example through our key issues. We focus on economy and rights.

Fredensborghusene is a self-governing institution founded by Danes Worldwide to create a housing estate for returning Danes. The houses are designed by Jørn Utzon, who is also the architect behind the Sydney Opera House.

As a member, you have the opportunity to live in Jørn Utzon’s Fredensborghuse and other collective housing for the elderly.

We also have a collaboration with FREMBO, where as a member of Danes Worldwide, you will receive exclusive offers on their homes for the elderly and single people.

For young people, Basecamp Student is a residential programme where students not only live but also grow together. As a member of Danes Worldwide, you can get a discount on the administration fee.

If you are a member of Danes Worldwide, you also get the opportunity to vote at the association’s annual general assembly, which acts as the association’s highest authority. This ensures the association’s democratic structure, while also ensuring that all members have the opportunity to influence the association’s work.
